The Alan Parsons Project Tales of Mystery and Imagination 1976 LP Vinyl (VG+)
    May 27, 2019
Every vinyl lover should own this lp!
This album really tells a story. It's based on stories from Edger Allen Poe writings. The music is both amazing and spooky. The book inside the gatefold is really cool to look at while listening to this album. Also for all my fellow audiophiles out there, this LP is an equipment testing marvel. There are many versions of this album cover art. The 1st and 2nd picture are the same with different art work from 1976, the last picture is of the 1987 remix. Both are good, I prefer the original mix with the original gatefold green cover art.
Audiophile Acrylic Turntable Mat | BlueLine | Slipmat Made in USA Rega Pro-Ject
    Mar 24, 2017
Inexpensive, but well made! Worth twice the asking price.
As an audiophile I know how much it cost to pay to play. This American made acylic platter mat is the perfect blend of cost vs upgrade. This came to me packaged safely and within minutes I was running over to my lp120 then my projects carbon and finally my sl1200 and the results were the same. Finally something that was a actually noticeable upgrade and this one didn't come in the form of a $800 dollar cart. Sound did have a noticeable treble improvement and somehow just sounds louder overall. I did notice this mat dosent seem to like my big Ben weight very much. While the weight is on I have lose of treble and volume. Since this mat has the recessed label cut out, it may be over flatting the lp. Thus far I have not had a need to use my weight with this mat so I'm guessing the design is doing its job. My lp120 that the mat is on currently is surrounded by a dual 8 inch tower and is only 7 feet away from a 1000 watt 15 inch subwoofer and I have no rumble what so ever, which out of a direct drive turntable is a surprise. I have felt, rubber, cork, and leather mats and a few hybrids and I have paid 100 dollars for one of them and the only change I found was I was $100 dollars lighter and pissed off. I paid a little over 20 bucks for this acylic mat from Hudson hifi and just can't stop smiling. I have worked with Hudson hifi in the past and have purchased weights/ clamps and other odds and ends but always on Amazon. Then when I seen this product on eBay and seen who the seller was I knew my purchase would be good transaction. Hudson hifi does a great job with immediate communication even late at night as in my case. I had a question expecting to get an answer the next day, but to my surprise it was minutes later. After about 15 minutes I made my purchase and a few days later had my new gear. Great product at a great price. Well done!
