You will need a couple of friends to help.
The pump, filter and ladder were from our previous pool and are not included in the kit. The pump that was included according to the specs will probably work just fine. The ladder was a bit flimsy and would not recommend anyone over 175lbs using it. The pool and liner were great. I had a couple of people help me put the wall up, but I did all the grading and liner installation by myself. It would say it was simple, but not easy. The directions were pretty good. The main thing you have to do to get it to look nice is make sure that the ground underneath the pool is compacted well and there is a nice transition from the walls to the ground. Keep checking the liner and adjusting it as necessary as it fills. If I can do it you can do it.

A few quirks, but it seems to be well made. Operation is a bit complicated.
Unless you are looking specifically for this it works well. If your looking for something just to play cassette tapes, look elsewhere. It serves the function I bought it for.
