Does not handle calcium very well.
I purchased this pump for a reef tank. Within 30 days it locked up because of the high calcium content. I looked into extra pump heads so I can swap out and clean when needed. The pump head costs more than just buying the whole pump. This is setup is not sustainable for a reef tank.
