Fixed Seemingly Unrelated Problems
I purchased the NS295 to replace a defective unit in a 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. The fit was perfect and the switch works as intended.
The reason I had to replace the switch was because the car had the following problems:
1) Automatic door locks weren't working properly (delayed activation or wouldn't activate at all),
2) Backup lights weren't working,
3) Cruise control wasn't working.
Note: Though this car did not come equipped with an electric trunk release mechanism, it's my understanding that the circuit for it is also routed through the neutral/backup switch. Consequently, if you have a vehicle with such a device—and it's not working—the neutral/backup switch may be the culprit.
On the '94 Cutlass, the switch is located in the engine compartment on the drivers side (left side when sitting behind the wheel). It is behind the engine on the top of the transaxle. The replacement process wasn't too difficult once I removed the air cleaner box and hose to the throttle body. If you have some mechanical ability—and a modicum of common sense—all should go well for you.

Excellent—Should Have Purchased Earlier
I do a lot of different tasks on my knees; anything from refrigeration repair to automotive work. I've been using kneeling pads, but they were not near the quality of this Custom Leathercraft 303, nor did they have the cushioning of this pad. For example, I weigh 225 pounds and I can put all my weight on the heal of one foot and still not bottom out this pad. I originally thought the size of the 303 might be too big, but after using it a number of times I now think it is the perfect size. I can't yet speak to the durability—since I haven't had it that long—but it seems like it will last awhile.

Works As Desired
I use this type of plug to replace the cord ends on through-the-wall air conditioning units. So far they have worked as desired and I will purchase more of them if needed.
