Camera wasn’t detailed that it only work...

Camera wasn’t detailed that it only works while plugged in the battery will not hold a charge. I hope I can buy I new battery and it’s not the equipment issues. No one can record while plugged in and move around freely for recording so in hopes that battery will fix issue
