Great replacement for my old power shot

My old Canon Power Shot died after I left it sitting in a puddle (it's a long story). I wanted a similar camera to replace it and this newer model is perfect. It does everything the old one did plus it uses regular AA batteries which allows me to use rechargeables when I can but also to use single use batteries on long backpacking trips (which is very convenient). I am not a "photographer" - more of a point a shoot picture taker - but this camera is perfect for me - it does everything I need and more.
