A complete study bible in a gorgeous binding.
The Oxford Study Bible (1992) employs the Revised English Bible (REB) for its English translation. Each page is footnoted with lengthy annotations from the historical-critical approach of its British translators. In addition, the OSB has 200 pages of scholarly articles collected at the front under the general heading of "Understanding the Bible and Its Communities". A word index and Oxford's set of color maps are in back.
What truly recommends this version of the OSB is its high-quality deep-grained genuine leather binding that remains strong, supple, and resilient after 25+ years of use. Hard to find and well worth owning.

Nice compact Science Fiction Book Club edition
Nice Science Fiction Book Club edition of Asimov's Foundation trilogy, published in 2004. Similar in size to the recent Everyman's Library re-print and more compact than the Bantam/Spectra collectors edition, this HB edition measures 8-1/2" x 5-3/4" x 1-1/4" thick. Text size is a comfortable 10-pt serif font. Attractive dust jacket illustration. .

Great personal size and quality leather binding.
The Message Numbered Edition, Personal Size seems to have had the best variety of quality bindings, from Genuine & Bonded Leather to Imitation 'Leather Look', and my personal favorite, Distressed Imitation Leather. This is probably their top-of-the-line genuine leather (black) version, with a very floppy binding that feels supple to the touch. Has unique silver page edging and a single ribbon. FYI - the Personal Size bible measures about 8-1/4" x 5-1/2", one size below the standard 9"x 6" study bible size. 8.75pt text font.
