Wrong decapping pin.

My 30-06 set came with, what I learned later was, the short .30 Cal. decapping pin. in order to push out the primer, the pin had to be set below the top of the decapping pin collet by about 1/8". this would cause the pin to move upward in a very short time. I ended up applying Loctite 620 retaining compound to the pin on the portion that is in the collet and cranking the .....out of it. This worked. The short decapping pin is probably for the .308. I ordered a "long .30-06 pin from LEE and it is about 1/4" longer than the pin that came with my set. I got the replacement very quickly. I've been happy with most all the LEE products that I own including five sets of dies.

Looks great

My review is based on the outward appearance of the unit, Fast shipment and features. I won,t be setting it up until I have my battery backup system built. I especially like the large wire appliance hook up terminals. I will connect a generator plug to the battery back up and will be able to switch from the generator to to battery thru my transfer switch.
