Extra Ring
This half shaft is listed for multiple vehicles so it has an extra ring at the wheel end that interferes when installed on a1997 Chevy 1 ton. Cut the serrated ring off before installing and all will be well.

No good
It failed to install so I returned it.

Better cable set.
The cable set provided was better than the one that came with the window. The threaded rod and locking nuts were larger diameter without the squaring off that caused the original cable set to strip out.
