Fan Motor
I was concerned because this was a replacement model for a older motor. But when I installed it ..it was exactly like the motor I removed. It was a very easy change out. The holes lined up perfectly for installation and the wires were colored black, orange and brown..just like the original fan motor . I never installed a fan motor and didn't want to mess with a universal motor since I didn't want any issues that I didn't know how to deal with.
I was so happy when I returned the electricity to the unit and turned on the ac and blower and the house started cooling. I was already out almost $400.00 with the ac tech charging me for a service fee, wire repair and new capacitors (fan and compressor), when the unit still didn't work they told me it is the fan motor and would cost an additional $800.00. I then decided I would do it myself .
I received it faster than quoted and it was well packaged. I would recommend this product.
