Tactical RPG that I'm in love with
2 of 2 found this helpful To be honest I was unsure how much I would enjoy this game. I knew about Ike and Fire Emblem in general due to my love for smash bros. Yet now, after sinking countless hours into this game I am sure. It is absolutely wonderful. In fairness I do love RPG's and when done right I can appreciate strategy games as well. As a person who is fairly new to this type of tactical RPG I can say that it is good and fairly challenging. Let me stress, I am not a patient person and often times 1 in game battle sequence will take over an hour, but in Fire Emblem I am too busy planning ahead my next move or rooting for my character when they get a defensive kill. Overall, there is a learning curve and this game has no problem showing you who the boss is. Especially when you are about to win and one of your character dies permanently. It is very rewarding when you finally finish a phase while sustaining minimum casualties though, and you will be compelled to push forward. I love this game and definitely recommend it!
