ProMag Rug 17 10 Round 9mm Ruger EC9, EC9S, LC9, LC9S

Jammed, didn't work out.

Sadly this mag did not work for my EC9. It slid in and fit fine at first, but after firing 5 rounds the mag would jam and not slide free when the release was pressed without some added force and then it would. I tried it again to see if it needed broken in but it only got worse and harder, at one point it took 3 of us to try it until it released, when we looked it over there was a spot that curved out at the lip of the mag where it would feed the bullet into the chamber. On my original mag it was smooth, it didn't have the lip. I handed it over to someone who might be able to fix it but it has been 3+ weeks so i doubt they got it straightened out. No idea if I just got one with a defect or what but I'll have to look elsewhere for an extended it seems. I don't know if anyone else had this same problem, the reviews I read were mostly positive, the EC9 and LC's aren't all that different from one another.

Easy to use and straight forward operation. Erases codes if prompted and works seamlessly. There's actually a lot more options this reader has than I thought it would, opens the door for finding different ways to improve performance on my older pickup. All in all I am more than happy with this purchase.
