Excellent value for the price. In fact, excellent value period.
This is a nicely finished tool. The cutting edges are flush with the face, so it makes a clean, flush cut. It worked very well for my immediate need, saving much time cleaning up the excess material a conventional pair of end cutters would have left.
I have not yet used this nipper to cut fret wire, so I cannot speak to their durability for that purpose.
Overall, the quality and utility of this tool is outstanding at the price point. I do not believe I would have been happier with a more expensive tool from a major luthier supply company
