Not compatible with my 2018 Subaru Impreza despite same number as listing
1 of 2 found this helpful Was assured that it would work with my 2018 Subaru Impreza so long as my OEM keys had the same number, they do. The blade of this key is not compatible with my car. Had to return.

Excellent value, better quality than similar DVR's purchased 18 months ago. Cables and adapters, not so great.
1 of 1 found this helpful These things are NOT supposed to be "easy" to use. They are complex and designed for specific and critical functions, namely security surveillance. After installing a surveillance quality hard drive I began testing it. A large number of configuration options are available and the documentation is, shall we say, not the best and adequately detailed. Having reasonable technical abilities (and an expanding head because of my fat ego) I was able to get it functioning. The cameras are functional and well built with clean sharp images. The actual DVR, although the case is of thin metal, is of better quality and construction compared to others I have purchased. Downside? The cables supplied for connecting cameras to DVR are, in my opinion, of too light a gauge. I will not be using them in the actual installation. They are not shielded cables and with the light wires will be prone to failure and EMI. The power adapters are also too light. I will be using a 5 amp adapter for the DVR and a 10 amp adapter for up to 5 cameras. The 2 amp adapters supplied will be pushed to the limits in an installed system. Run power adapters beyond 50% capacity and you are going to have problems and premature failures. The supplied adapters will be running at 100% or more capacity and will fail early, potentially damaging both cameras and the DVR.
Even with these shortcomings the DVR and cameras are an excellent value for the price I paid. After factoring in cost of new heavier cables and larger capacity power adapters, still an excellent deal.
