Excellent product.
Received my Shimano 5500 mini big pit reel today, after numerous recommendations on various feeder fishing blogs. Upon taking out of the box, and having a full inspection and play, I Knew straight away, this reel oozes outstanding quality. Very smooth in operation, micro adjust drag, excellent finish, looks like a product costing 3 times the asking price. The spool spacers are a wonderful idea, and fit perfect. I have owned many reels, and this is the best by far. Can't wait to spool it with braid, and long cast for bream. Excellent long range casting reel.

Practical pellet preparation
The Preston Innovations pellet wetter is a super bit of kit for preparing pellets for method and pellet feeders. Pellets of all sizes are easily prepared, in exactly the quantity and softness required. Simply place your chosen amount of pellets for a session or match, into the inner meshed container, and zip up. Place water or flavoured water into the outer containter, and simply submerge the meshed container and pellets into the outer container. Leave for around 10 seconds, take out the meshed container containing the pellets, give a good shake, and your pellets will then be perfect in around 30 minutes. Do it before you set up, and then they'll be ready when you start. Prepare more if you run short during your session. It's that simple. Reccomend this product to every feeder, pole, and pleasure angler. An excellent consept, whether you require drier, or stickier pellets on the day. Just leave pellets submerged longer for a more stickier mix, handy when cupping in on deeper swims.

An absolute winner.
This product is the answer to all my hook length storage issues. With 21 spools, stored neatly into a strong light, easy to open/close box, that sits nicely into a seat box or carryal. There's options for any lengths, for multiple breaking strains, to cover any situation. The choice is endless. And no need for fiddly pins, this system doesn't require them. Brilliant product.
