I call'em driveshaft biscuits or muffins.
The original's were textbook failure mode when I ordered these. That is, the bolt collars were nearly expose though the gaping cracks in the disk body. Only visual inspection indicated failure.
Otherwise no indications or symptoms from driving. I have Febbi's on another W210 with excellent service after 50K+ miles (Recently inspected).
