Nice piece for a Halloween costume
Purchased these for a Cthulhu priest Halloween costume. They were much better than I anticipated. They didn't impede my ability to hold things, use my phone, etc.
To be fair the audience for something like this is probably niche at best, but if that includes you, I highly recommend these.
(EDIT: I tried to include a photo of the costume but apparently this site is really dumb about pictures, so you'll have to take my word on it...)

Exactly what I wanted
Purchased this for a Halloween costume to homage Jubei Yagyu of the Samurai Showdown series. The three pieces of this ensemble seem to be reasonably well-made, and can accommodate a wide range of sizes (I am on the upper end of men's size medium in the states, and this garment had plenty of room to spare). The material is lightweight and comfortable.
As a Halloween and costuming enthusiast I was pleasantly surprised by this and am very pleased with my purchase.

Decent, but with quality problems
Bought this as an accessory for a Cthulhu priest costume. For that purpose it was excellent. Very creepy and thematic.
However there are quality issues with this item.
Firstly, the stand is relatively flimsy due to the finger bones that hold the sheath. Two of the fingers broke off in relatively short order upon displaying. Secondly, the metal for the pommel weight was held in with a cheap glue, which eventually led to that piece coming loose and falling out. It is a problem that can easily be remedied, but still, something to look out for.
Still, it is a reasonable price for a display/prop weapon with a great aesthetic, and I personally am pleased with the item on those merits. For that reason I bumped the review up to four stars (although a more accurate score would be three-and-a-half stars).
