Tight!
Way tighter, stiffer than my other vintage tuners of this type. I like that though. I'm sure they'll loosen up a bit with time.. meanwhile the stability feels very assuring, and they are incredibly stable. Installed on an Allparts strat neck, the big headstock maple 7.5 radius one. (Great neck btw) Had to do slight reaming of front of headstock holes, back side fit perfectly.

Great quality.
1 of 1 found this helpful I was impressed with the packing, really secure, no chance of damage. Neck is light, straight, perfectly done. Mine was nearly quartersawn. Frets are very small and have a brass look, I don't mind. No sharp fret ends. Nice work! I like that they're licensed by fender so it was ok for me to put the waterside decal on.

Great replacement for stock ceramic pickups
Sound way better than my mid 90s Chinese squier stock pups, night and day. No icepick highs, that is if you've got a tone control wired to the bridge pup, which tames it perfectly even with the tone on 10. Very happy with these, Gonna try the 62z next, these are a little higher output, sounded best with pickup height very low, even with pickguard. Neck pickup sound is amazing too.
