Thumbs up Garden of Life Protein Powder
My husband found this product for me when I was suffering a post surgical infection and was having difficulty eating and regaining my strength. For weeks I had lost weight and muscle and was becoming increasingly weak. Animal protein was very unappetizing but I was starving for a good source of protein. As soon as he made the first shake for me I felt the energy I had been lacking. The nausea I had been feeling at the thought of food was immediately replaced by an enthusiastic hunger for the protein powder drink. My strength returned rapidly and muscles grew stronger even in the first week of one shake a day. The flavor is really good and after you have felt the good energy from it you really crave it though the texture is a little grainy. I always add some berries or pineapple, and sometimes spinach for extra green. I like it with coconut milk or soy milk. The probiotics and antioxidants make supplementing with pills unnecessary and saves money for me. I live this stuff and haven't missed a day without it for about nine months. I've also lost about twenty pounds of fat and have better muscle tone than before. The protein keeps me full and the cravings for sugary snacks that I used to have in the afternoon have simply disappeared. It has been effortless to loose the weight and still feel full and energetic. I really love this product!
