Good lock , assembly slightly difficult
Authentic Ford lock . Excellent quality , you need to have your key code number to make it easier to install the tumblers. Make sure you assemble the lock on a clean and bright work surface as the tumbler springs are very small . There are more than enough tumblers and springs . If you dont have the key code the instructions show you how to measure the key to match the proper number tumblers . The instructions say the tumblers are numbered 1 through 10 but they are not . The bags are numbered 1 through 5 , there are 2 sets which are right and left . So there is 1 through 5 rights and 1 through 5 lefts . Also instructions show Rotunda tool 501-051 is needed to crimp the shutter cover to the lock , I was able to crimp the tabs with a hammer and chinsel . As you can see this is a little involved but if you are mechanically inclined it can be accomplished .
