Work great, much hotter than the homemade wax variety.
1 of 1 found this helpful These do have a strong chemical smell when you open the package, but do not smoke or impart a smell to food cooked with them. I assume the smell is a chemical evaporating from the product in long term storage. That probably means they should be stored in a sealed container when not in use.

Just in time for the cold weather.
Perfect replacement for the M79 glass in Sunstream heaters that were sold in the 1980's, part number 20451609. Replacements are no longer available in the USA. It took a little over 2 weeks to arrive.

Good for cub scouts.
Almost identical to the military variety in appearance, but slightly smaller and lighter. Would be great for scouts, small adults, or anyone who was trying to shave a few ounces off the weight he is carrying. I liked the first two so much, I ordered two more.
