Maximum security and convenience for Pelican cases
This is the second set of Master Lock 140Q Solid Brass Keyed Alike Padlock that I've purchased, because they have the largest shackle that fit the three Pelican cases I use for photography and studio lighting gear.

Backpacking stove windscreen is a necessity
1 of 1 found this helpful It's 5" tall, forms a circle approximately 8" in diameter when it's closed and weighs just over 4 oz. with the included stuff sack. The sections of aluminum have steel wire pins that need to be secured, otherwise they can slip out. I'm going to kink the top of each and that should serve to stop a loss of one in the field.

Oben 2400 Monopod was the right choice.
I'm very impressed with the design and build quality. It's made for rigorous use. I needed a monopod that would support the Canon 5D Mark III/Tamron Sp 150-600 Di VC weight and this one will do the job and I think more. The locks are adjustable with the included hex key and, as I bought it new, came at the perfect tension. The 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16 platform mounting bolt is a good idea. I'll be mounting a Arca-style quick-release to attach the Tammie's mounting ring. Thought about possibly a ball head, but decide against it for the monopod. I already have a Gitzo 2750 ball head on the Gitzo Studex tripod and it's all I need for maximum stability. The Oben 2400 makes a great walking staff, too. I'm delighted to say that it's it.
