Kick-ass horror and action in equal measures....
Kick-ass horror movie with awesome gore effects! Love the characters and have been a big fan of the series. I was surprised to find this was more a serious horror film as opposed to the comic horror of the first 2. This is one of the reasons i enjoyed it so much. It went a different way and expanded the scope of the series. I loved Mindy Clarke, she was sexy and dangerous. Her transformation later in the film is freakin' awesome!!!
As for the DVD, i am so happy to finally have this film in a widescreen print. It really does justice to the great special effects.

Just Plain Awesome!
1 of 1 found this helpful First of all, i love this movie. Road House has always been my favorite Patrick Swayze movie of choice. The action, the music, the fights and that cast! Everyone knows the movie, so i'll review the disc.
Unlike the previous release on Blu-ray, this release finally corrects many of the wrongs that one made. It's framed correctly. The picture really pops! The clarity of the picture is crystal clear, yet doesn't sacrifice the depth of scope and the grain and grittiness and the mood we love so much about this movie. The fight scenes are even more impressive in this remastered print. The audio is loud and directional if you are watching it on home theatre and surround sound. The music was always a major draw for me too and to have it pumping out of my speakers all around me in perfect clarity was impressive. And to those it matters to, Patrick looks freakin' great in HD!
Then there are the special features...
Finally a release of Road House with features! Never thought i'd ever see one. They're both quality and quantity. From interviews new and old, to fight choreography and many great input from those involved in the making of the movie, both in front and behind the camera. And Lisa Niemi giving us a great interview about her and Patrick's experiences making this movie too. You want the ultimate Road House release, grab this Blu-ray! One for us fans to treasure... :)

silly, but awesome!!
A time-capsule of a movie really. Part of the 1980's Ninja movie craze, Ninja 3: The Domination is the 3rd and final installment of the Ninja Trilogy that began with Enter The Ninja and continued with Revenge of The Ninja. Park your brain at the door and kick back for a silly, yet completely awesome combination of Martial Arts, Dance(the 80's Breakdance phenomenon) and Horror films(combining elements of the Exorcist series). Sho Kosugi returns for more Ninja mayhem and Lucinda Dickey brings her dance skills to the roll of a woman possessed by the spirit of a murdered Ninja Warrior... This description alone makes the purchase essential to fans.
I was also really surprised to see this film in a remastered widescreen print, with great detail and the graininess kept to a minimum, also the audio is the best i've heard from any other release i've owned of this film.
I was not disappointed!! And you also get both the DVD and the Blu-Ray versions in a Dual Pack. What's not to love about that...
