very concise
I purchased the book because I wanted a simple way of making onigiri for the most part--I lived in Japan for a bit and was impressed by the detail that they take in the presentation of food. The book offers many of these presentations.
The book is very easy to use...and very basic. I like the style of book with the binding on the top --and it stays open! The book itself's pages are easy to clean if you get 'stuff' on them...very good for a book that will be in the kitchen!.
There are many photos and diagrams in the book as well which makes the recipes easier to complete. The recipes are easy to follow and the ingredients are listed in both the Japanese name (if there is one) as well as the English version to make locating them at the market easy.
I think I will be using this book a lot!

Japanese Spitz
Very informative book about the care and training of the japanese spitz dog. Lots of pictures and very easy to follow. Written in very plain english.
