Try reversing the plug.
The bulbs are beautifully bright and white. But, when I installed them, I plugged them into the connectors and they didn't come on. Knowing something about electronics I tried reversing the plugs. They worked but now there isn't a tab for the harness plug to clip onto to hold it tight. So I had to improvise and so far so good.
