Big step up from SM58
2 of 2 found this helpful This mic has great sound, bright and clear, comparable to my favorite studio condenser. I bought it for onstage vocals but I have a feeling it’s going to get a lot of use in my recording arsenal as well. Also very lightweight, and it looks good too! This is a huge step up from my SM58, and since I don’t tend to abuse my microphones I’m hoping it won’t matter that it’s probably a little less indestructible.
