Found this to perform very well on totally flat floors like laminate leaving the floor damp but drying quickly. It's a different story on tile and flag floors where the gaps between tiles seem to badly affect the suction, even on high. This results in a wet floor and a need to hand mop to get it dry or leave it longer as in old fashioned mopping. This said, the device is still good on spills, as displayed with the spaghetti spill in the TV ad, being much better and easier than having to get on hands knees. Should you buy one? I'd say yes, if you have laminate floors it's great, not perfect but a big improvement on doing it the hard way. On tiled floors it helps but its hard to justify the cost.
