Best hunting book I’ve ever read
1 of 1 found this helpful This guy breaks it all down on every aspect of big game hunting. If you have an aspiring big game hunter who is just starting out I can’t explain how valuable this book will be. It covers it all from planning to clothes selection, gear needed, tactics, field work, field dressing, butchering to cooking. I’ve been hunting for 5 years and even I found things in here that helped me become a better prepared and better hunter.

Great pack
I was tired of all the gimmick bino straps I had tried over the years. I actually threw out all of them and went back to the plain Jane strap that came with the binoculars from the factory. Most had my arms fatigued by constantly putting force pressure against me holding the, up to my eyes. Try doing that fir hours on end glassing for game! When I would loosen the strap then they would hang too low and bounce all over when walking. I had had enough and then I saw this pack at the Elk Show. Contemplated buying right then and there but remembered all the times I was disappointed before. I read the reviews and spoke with a guy who had them and was sold. Black Ovis had a great price and so I bought the size that would fit my 12x50 with the pouch out front for a range finder and a pouch under neath for my cell phone. Other than my stupid giant iPhone 7 Plus won’t fit through the zippered opening on the bottom pocket this thing is exactly what I have been looking for. My phone actually tucks in behind my binoculars in the main pouch and I carry other stuff in the bottom pocket. Couldn’t be happier after spending 5 days hooked to the pack out deer and elk hunting.
