FOGHAT ! Nuff said !
1 of 1 found this helpful Forgot how good this band was until I took a nice Boogie Woogie rock -n-roll stroll down memory lane with this cd box set ! Start to finish, just great musicianship and earnest playing all around. From the early Bloozy foot stomping to the somewhat poppy later albums, this is a great band, so very happy to hear them again, and have them all in one set !
Whatever permutations of the band members that were there, they cam to play, and play well.
Rod Price on lead has to be one of the most unheralded of the best guitarists of the last 40 some years, right up there with Rory Gallagher and Robin Trower, each masters of their craft and different sounds and pursuit of a perfect blues tone. No matter that they don't have more acknowledgement, their many fans are grateful for what they've produced !
And Rod certainly tore it up with the best of them ! R.I.P. Lonesome Dave and Rod Price !
