Poseidon-good action, story line adrift at sea, though

I got this movie because I like Kurt Russell (underrated actor). The action sequences did not disappoint, but the story line and the characters did. As different characters died, I realized that I had barely gotten to know them, and could really care less. Bad character development. I like action as much as the next guy, but it hardly seems worth watching when, after only 129 minutes, the cast are rescued at sea. I was glad it was over for me more than I was glad it was over for them.

Good cross section of Buffett favorites

This album has live versions of "come monday" and "southern cross". Enough said. If for no other reason, this album should be part of your collection just for southern cross. Overall, a decent example of a live album from one of the greatest showman in American music.

iPod Shuffle-No frills, good value

Now that the price is coming down, I decided to give a shuffle a try. My wife loves it for at work. I have a Nano gen 3, which is better for business trips(I can watch movies, etc) but the shuffle is ideal for those that listen while working out or just at work, where you can't make use of a fancy screen anyway.
