Very handy design guide
I've read and used many heat transfer texts over the past 30 years and this one presents the information in a clear and concise and user-friendly format. The examples for me have been very useful and explained. This text is suited towards students and early stage researchers and has many useful design correlations and explanations.
What would be useful would be more physical property information in an Appendix and use of Cp correlations to determine Cp values over a range of temperatures.

Lovely book introducing heat transfer to everyone.
This text is a well thought out work and very easy to use. I have referred ro this text for correlations relating to convective heat transfer and the authors have made it easy to find relevant examples.
Engineering students will find it very handy and it covers a range of disciplines. The one thing from my own perspective that I would have liked to see was heat transfer in liquid contactors especially quenching and cooling of gases.
I would recommend this book to chemical engineering students and designer of heat exchange equipment.
