Good brackets, rough finishing.
Perfectly adequate basic brackets. Edges sharp and rough, but easily filed down and smoothed.

Indian replicas of original VW mud flaps.
1 of 1 found this helpful These are India-made reproductions of the flaps sold as a factory accessory in the 1960s. The rubber is less flexible than that used for the German-made flaps. The metal brackets are flimsy, and are not drilled to fit the available mounting screws in 1968-72 Beetles. The metal of the brackets is cheaply plated; I strongly recommend cleaning them, priming them, and painting them with Rust-Oleum or other rust-resisting paint.
The appearance of the flaps is very close to the factory originals, but the mounting brackets will require modification to provide a secure and solid mount.
