Casino Royale, Not The New Bond, But An Old Classic
Casino Royale (1967), a classic send up to spy thrillers of the day and ultimately the inspiration for the Mike Myers series of Austin Powers movies of the 1990's, proves to be quite an intelligent and witty slap-stick comedy pioneering the way for movie series like Airplane! and Police Squad with classic sight gags and literal interpretations of innuendo. With a cast consisting of Woody Allen, David Niven, Peter Sellers, and Orson Welles what could go wrong? NOTHING! A fun movie, indeed!
