I bought this item to mount an axle back...

I bought this item to mount an axle back muffler to my FR-S that was purchased with straight pipes...this resonator tube with my Borla exhaust is the perfect blend of rumble and ride comfort. At highway speeds, it's just as quiet as the stock system, but at higher RPMs, you can hear the exhaust note. This beats any cat back system - as those just make the car louder and not faster.

Low Quality Muffler and Resonator makes this setup not worth the price.

Others have mentioned that this is a cheap copy of the Nvidia exhaust for the FRS/BRZ/86 triplets...The exhaust doesn't drone but at high RPMs the rasp of the exhaust is a bit too much as if the resonator is not doing it's job or there is not enough material. The sound is very hollow and loud. It's ok for the price, but if sound quality is what you want, save a bit and spend more on a higher quality item. I decided to go stock resonated pipe with axle back Borla muffler and that sound and far superior to this setup. Again, you get what you pay for. The setup does look very nice, the welds are quality just that it appears the resonator and mufflers are of very low quality

Looks nice, but broke when tested.

The item is made from heavy nylon but the clips are low grade plastic. The Velcro straps are also too short by a good 3 inches for secure connections. It says good for padded or non-padded bars, but my version seems to be good for only non-padded models. Also, when installed, while testing the grab handles, one of the corners broke upon pulling down on it. I do not recommend this if you intend to actually use it. I would go with a metal version of the clips or metal handles all together
