Good bird watching telescope, too light construction for a rifle scope (maybe a .22)
0 of 3 found this helpful I think its going to be a good scope, but I knew at the time I purchased it that I was going to have to get a lot of accessory parts to make it into a rifle scope. Right now it is making its living as a bird watching scope (my binoculars are really too powerful for close range work). I am concerned however that the recoil of a 7.62X39 cartridge is going to destory it or at least keep it from ever being usable in that role. But as a bird/animal dusk/dawn scope (when things get busy in fields) it may in the end pay for itself
