It simply works.

Large, easier to read, Many features!
This new Garmin DriveSmart 61 has many new features that I like. Most of all, I like the larger display size, its much easier to read while driving.
I have had many Garmins in the past and I am a fan of their products. I haven't become familiar with many of the new features yet but I believe I will enjoy it even more when I learn how to clear up some of the "near me" displays. I would rather not have them all the time.
I am not sure that I need all of the assistance alerts, especially the speed limit change alert, bu it is not too distracting.
I recommend this GPS would purchase it unit again.

Inconsistent quality and sizing
I depended on the sizing templates too much. My pad was a little shy of the dimensions advertised because of imperfections near the edges. Be sure to order one of these with a little extra border.
