Makita DUC353Z what's not to like!
I have a McCulloch 335 that has been brilliant but is coming to the end of its life looked for similar size 14" and found great reports of this Makita cordless duc353z. Since I already have this Makita LXT battery system and finding the chainsaw for a good price £120, thought I would try it.
I have to say it's brilliant I've cut two conifers down and into logs so far and I can not fault it. The added bonus is no fuel mixing, no exhaust fumes, no dragging on the pull start, a press of the button and off you go. The quality is excellent as with all Makita equipment. I should say if you don't have the LXT batteries and charger already this can be and expensive alternative to replacing petrol for petrol, but if you're thinking of jumping into the Makita LXT family and need a chainsaw for your log burner this is a great place to start.

Not worth the hassle
The ram works but only so long about 10 mins after initialising the computer it will just restart itself then work for a few minutes before restarting again, regardless of what programs are running. Fitted the old 4g ram and everything runs fine although slower. Wouldn’t buy cheap again it’s just false economy

Great Side rubbish stop
2 of 2 found this helpful Bought these bulbs to get better lights at the back of the berlingo.
They fitted perfectly and as side light there was a marked improvement over the oem bulbs fitted, but when the brakes were pressed the stop illumination was no where near the oem bulbs, so I have returned them.
