Lasers work - sort of
The red and green lasers work once in a while. Most of the time they give a small barely visible beam. This is with brand new batteries. The blue laser is weak all the time and is not really useful.

Handy gadget to have for selfies and vibration free photos thru telescopes and microscopes
I use this on my Nikon 1 J1. It allows me to take pictures of me and my friends as a group, without having to ask for help from strangers. I also find it handy when the Nikon is attached to a telescope or a microscope. I can trip the shutter without touching and shaking the camera or the entire apparatus.

good design, powerful uv source
Very easy to use. Just plug into a regular light bulb socket. Powerful unit. I measure approx. 10 watts/cm2 at a distance of 0.5" = 1.2cm from the tip. Convenient - practically no heat emission
