The best choice - I'm a repeat customer
I have many of these on my large HO scale model layout. They are bright white LED's, just like the modern prototype found on highways and mall parking lots. Unlike Walthers or Woodland Scenics, no large holes or expensive proprietary "hub" wiring systems are required. Only a 1/8" hole is needed and, because it comes with attached inline resistors, it can be directly attached to any AC or DC, 12 to 16 volts supply.

Nice addition to a model railroad layout for extra realism
Having operating traffic signals on your city street scenes is an excellent way to achieve more realism and impress viewers. The Walthers traffic light controller is very easy to hook up, with the connecting screw terminals plainly marked. I'd give it 5 stars, except that it lacks any screw holes for mounting, necessitating some kind of hanger to hold it up. The red-yellow-green cycle is 30 sec. and is not adjustable (most city signal cycles are 1-2 min or longer).
