The best reel ever produced.
Growing up,in south Florida gave me the chance to go snapper fishing in the mangroves one day to bass fishing in an extremely large, deep and clear rock pit the next. The Mitchell 300 of the 60s and 70s was the only reel I ever needed for both types of fishing. Receiving this reel after 35 years without has brought me such great joy. The reel reached me in just a few days and was packaged quite well. I took one star away because the bail would not close properly. Yes I know I bought this reel in a used condition, yet I think the seller could have solved the bail issue. I have ordered replacement parts for it. Don't let my bail issue keep you from doing business with this seller as he was very fast in getting my wonderful reel to me.
