The End of an Era
If you're a right mental fan of the series this final and fitting ending is bittersweet. The episodes have really hit their stride and the inclusion of the controversial two-part Patagonia special really ratchets up the tension to what will ultimately be Jeremy's termination and the discontinuation of the series with our three beloved hosts. The three compare high-end luxury coups across a 3-million acre ranch in Australia, and in a survivor-man-esque episode Jeremy and James take their sweet time in rescuing Richard from the top of a snowy mountain range. With a little bit of slightly-less-than-deliberate foreshadowing, Jeremy can be heard muttering "I hate working for Top Gear" in the last episode featured with Richard and James saying "thanks for watching and goodbye".
