Excellent and easy to use

One thing any buyer should be aware of is that Autofocus and Image Stabilisation don't work together – you have to do an old-fashioned manual focus if you want IS. Where that matters is if you're trying to catch a quick shot of something moving in the distance – wildlife, sports, that sort of thing.
But if you know that, this is good value. A professional photographer might look for higher-grade optics, but this is more than good enough for most users.
