comes up short

Gasket folded so tight it tore - unusable. Shim quantity insufficient for installation.

Jabsco Water Puppy- it should move fluids

fittings were epoxied in place.must disassemble pump to heat housing to remove unneeded JIC fittings before pump can be used. thread dope used on pipe threads would have made this disassembly unnecessary. pump itself does not look that bad. will test after fittings are removed.
