Oil Filter for Kawasaki ZL 900 Eliminator 1985-1986 HiFlo HF401

Tried and Tested with a Solid Reputation
This is the go-to filter. I have never had any issues with these filters in my GPZ900R (1000cc customised), so therefore don't look anywhere else as I totally trust them. Also good deals can be had on multi-buys or packs of these filters.

Quality Item Worth a Look and the Money
I'd seen what I imagine to be similar products to these going for more than twice as much so was a bit apprehensive about buying this version which cost a lot less. The order arrived well packaged in a timely fashion with very basic instructions in Chinese. Not a problem though as there are a few diagrams which made it fairly easy to work out what goes where. I loosely put it together before moving to my bike, a modern classic Kawasaki GPZ750R from 1985, where using a circlip removal pliers I was able to remove the old foot rests. After that it was simply a job of orientating the new one into position, with the all important spring that still allows the new footrest to flip up and down, and refit the circlip. I'd used some Loctite on the footrest bolts before fully tightening them for safety. I deliberately angled to footrests slightly forward and higher than the originals. This means that I now sit a little further forward but my legs tucked up, knees more bent than before. This feel a lot more racey and connected to the bike. I'll need to may need to make a slight adjustment of the gear leaver to raise it, but not by much as riding boots with little heel feels absolutely perfect. The build quality looks quality and I can't imagine anything better to be honest. Well work a look if you need an option to tailor your bike to suit your style or fit.
