Very quiet
The sound coming from the speaker was minicuel. Had all the settings up on my sound decoder and had no difference in sound. I can't tell you if the sound quality was good because it was that quiet. Was not a good buy.

A Waste
1 of 1 found this helpful I had this for a Plug and Play Atheren Loccomotive HO scale and it ran for about 20 minutes before the thing just stopped working. Giving it an adress was a nightmare because it wouldn't keep the adress I was setting it to. In other words, if you want a decoder for 20 minutes for $50.00 this is what you would get. I would recomend SoundTraxxx decoders because they actually have a repitable DCC line than MRC.
