Great for Macro and general use
This lens is a wonderful value. It offers a full 1:1 macro image for super close-up photography. It also doubles as a 'normal' 50mm lens, and because of its design and high quality works perfectly as an all-around lens. It is very sharp overall, with good contrast. I am using it on my Sony a7 with an adapter so the auto focus doesn't function, but for macro work, I always use manual focus anyway.

Great Air Purifier - Great Value
1 of 1 found this helpful This is one of the best air purifiers out there. We have two of them, one for the bedroom and one for the living room. They do a fantastic job of cleaning the air. Easy to maintain, the pre-filters are not expensive and very simple to replace. They are pretty loud on the highest "turbo" setting but when on the lowest, it works like a white noise generator and is quiet enough to sleep with. We take our smaller one with us when we go traveling and love the clean air it makes. There are more expensive air cleaners and cheaper ones out there. this is a solid performer at a reasonable price.

Okay for a $200 lens
0 of 1 found this helpful I am using this Tamron on a Sony a7 with a Sigma MC-11 adapter. The auto focus constantly hunts, so I use manual exclusively. It is also very squeaky on autofocus. It is pretty sharp up to about 225-250mm. It gets mushy at any focal length beyond that. The VC works very well, and gives me about 3-4 stops of image stabilization. It is better stopped down to ƒ8 or above. As I say, for a couple of hundred bucks it is an okay lens. I have taken some pretty nice bird photos, but I do wish it was sharper.
