3DS version of an old favorite

i really enjoyed nintendogs for the ds. this version, while not as nostalgic, is also pretty decent. it lacks the agility trial, though, which is kind of disappointing. oh well. it still looks nice and works well.

Gritty, broken motor

when i received this item, i immediately noticed that the motor was chalky and wouldn't spin well. i figured i could get it to spin more efficiently if i installed it into my gamecube and let it spin up. however, the contacts on the ribbon cable were fraying, so i had to put it in especially careful. it does not spin on a perfectly working gamecube. i don't know how this happened. luckily, the disc eject button works, so i can use that.
