JDS1727 Air Cleaner to Carburetor Hose Fits John Deere

to short to narrow not enough hose for job 1958 JD 420C

wont fit around the carb or the air cleaner . yes its thick rubber but 2" is 2" when it comes to a hose fitting over a pipe. its also not long enough to get both ends on the air cleaner or the carb at the same time after i fought it just to get it started on one end.
