The Review
A well structured, historically accurate history of the times and the need for the Little Book Cliff Railway in the Grand Junction area and in the interaction with the Denver and Rio Grande Rail Road in providing a cheaper and reliable fuel to the western slope area.

My View Review
This book is one of the few that I have read that gives an accurate and realistic overview of the railroad laborer during the construction of the Continental Railroad. It covers not only the challenges these men met in overcoming the terrain of the chosen route but how they were organized into an effective specialized force, each performing his specified task as part of a goal driven team. It reveals the day to day routine, living conditions, diets and recreation of the crews and the cultural difference between the predominately Union Pacific Irish crews and Central Pacific Chinese work force. A fine overview of the men who physically built the great dream rather than the owners and financiers.

User friendly.
Durable well made glasses. Great for indoor/outside use, slip proof, and have a large capacity than for a user friendly glass. Great for the accident prone or kids.
