Best replacement battery
I routinely replace rechargeable batteries. It's a common cause for discarding perfectly operable devices: worn out batteries.

Widest DX
2 of 2 found this helpful One of the drawbacks to the DX format is that it shrinks wide angle... turns an 18-70 into a 27-105. If you have experience with wide angle, a 27 is only good for non-distorted crowd candids and some landscape.
With the 10.5 (which converts to around a 15mm) you can get the distortion you need. It's priced right and a medium aperture focuses everything from a foot to infinity. This lens is a must if the DX 12-24 (18-36) doesn't seem like enough.
